This Wednesday’s quote is from Stephen King. Last week I wrote about my love for King’s epic novel ‘The Stand’, which was published in response to the Daily Prompt (read that here). I wanted to extend my fondness for the work into this week’s quote, so here it is:
“The place where you made your stand never mattered. Only that you were there…and still on your feet.”
It is important to make a stand against things you feel are wrong. If you don’t, I think a bit of your soul withers, then dies, never to come back again. That’s just my opinion.
Chin up and keep smiling, Chickadees 😉
Hmmm quite thought-provoking – my take is it is important to make a stand against things that you feel you feel are wrong but now is your chance to make it right – resulting in inner peace. Stephen King, an amazing talent one of my favorites.

He’s one of mine too. I can’t for the life of me remember what the quote was about now, but I’m sure what you wrote is right 🙂
